Developed and published by Psygnosis in 1995, WipEout is a futuristic racing game, set in the year 2052, where you compete in an Anti-Gravity (AG) Racing League piloting dart-like vehicles that float above the ground and zip around tortuously-designed race tracks against similar opposition.

Checkered Flag, Atari Jaguar
Checkered Flag is a single-player Formula One racing game created by British company Rebellion Developments and published exclusively for the Atari Jaguar by Atari Corporation in 1994. It is a sequel to/remake of the Atari Lynx game of the same name and is similar in some respects to Sega‘s arcade game, Virtua Racing.
Atari Karts, Atari Jaguar
Atari Karts is a blatantly obvious attempt to copy the classic Super Nintendo game, Super Mario Kart, on the Atari Jaguar, and frankly it falls way short of Nintendo‘s brilliant racing game.
Crime City, Arcade
Taito‘s Crime City in an obscure run-and-gun arcade game, first released in 1989. It is part of the Chase HQ series, and the two playable characters – Tony Gibson and Raymond Brody – are the same leads as in the first Chase HQ. You can play either alone, or two players can play the game simultaneously, cooperatively.
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, XBox
Released for the XBox and PlayStation 2, Castlevania: Curse of Darkness is a 3D action/adventure developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo and first published in 2005.
Turbo, Arcade
Sega‘s 1981 arcade racer, Turbo, was designed and programmed by Steve Hanawa and was manufactured in three formats: a standard, full-sized upright cabinet, a mini cabinet, and a deluxe, seated cockpit cabinet. All three versions had a steering wheel, a gear lever with high and low gears, and an accelerator pedal.
Star Fox 64, Nintendo 64
Star Fox 64 – also known as “Lylat Wars” in PAL regions – is the sequel to the classic Star Fox on the Super Nintendo. It was developed and published by Nintendo and first released in 1997. The game was critically and commercially successful, selling over four million physical copies, making it one of the best-selling games on the Nintendo 64.
Crazy Taxi, Dreamcast
The Dreamcast port of the hit arcade game, Crazy Taxi, is arguably even better than its famous parent, because it features two new play modes and a variety of other additions and enhancements. It was developed by Hitmaker and first published for the Dreamcast by Sega in 2000.
Ultima IX: Ascension, PC
Ultima IX: Ascension is the ninth and final instalment of the core Ultima series and was developed by Origin Systems and published for Windows-based PCs by Electronic Arts in 1999. It was the first Ultima game to use polygonal rendering in a full 3D environment.
Star Fox EX, Super Nintendo
Star Fox EX is a recently-released ROM hack for the Super Nintendo classic, Star Fox, that takes ROM-hacking to another level. It was created by “kandowontu” (and a team of other contributors) and was first released in November 2022. The “EX” means “Exploration Showcase“.
