The Atari Lynx version of Ms. Pac-Man is a very good pill-gobbler, and – as far as I’m aware – it was only Pac-Man type game to appear on the system, outside of homebrew. It was developed and published by Atari Corporation in 1990.

Malibu Bikini Volleyball, Atari Lynx
Developed by Hand Made Software and published exclusively for the Atari Lynx by Atari Corporation in 1993, Malibu Bikini Volleyball is exactly what it says it is: a game featuring girls in bikinis playing volleyball on Malibu beach in California…
To be fair, there are men in shorts as well, although some may be disappointed that they’re not wearing Speedos… The opening title graphic (and box art) features model Karen Isely (I’m assuming Ms. Isely is/was a beach volleyball player, but a search turned up no information confirming this).
Rygar, Atari Lynx
A port of the 1986 Tecmo arcade game, Rygar on the Atari Lynx is a side-scrolling action game where the hero utilises a thrown shield – called The Diskarmor – to destroy his enemies. Rygar was ported to the Lynx by Haehn Software Productions for NuFX, and published by Atari Corporation in 1990.
Hard Drivin’, Atari Lynx
Developed by NuFX and published by Atari Corporation in 1991, the Atari Lynx version of Hard Drivin’ was quite impressive for the time. It showed that the Lynx could handle rudimentary 3D polygonal games – and in colour. Something that its main rival (the Nintendo Game Boy), couldn’t do.
Checkered Flag, Atari Lynx
Checkered Flag is a “formula-style” racing game, initially released by Atari Corporation for the Atari Lynx in 1991.
Choplifter XE, Atari 8-bit
This ‘enhanced’ remake of Dan Gorlin‘s Choplifter was released for Atari XE computers by Atari Corporation in 1988. It features improved graphics, but with pretty much the same gameplay as the original.
Choplifter, Atari 7800
The Atari 7800 conversion of Choplifter was developed by Ibid, Inc. and first released by Atari Corporation in 1987, and while it does at first glance look better than all the other Atari ports of the game, it unfortunately plays pretty poorly.
Ballblazer, Atari 5200
Lucasfilm Games‘ classic futuristic sports game, Ballblazer, was released for the Atari 5200 by Atari Corporation in 1986, and it’s a really good port.
Xybots, Atari Lynx
The Lynx port of Atari Games‘ 1987 arcade game, Xybots, was developed by NuFX, Inc. and first released by Atari Corporation in 1991. It is a futuristic third-person shooter where you explore a maze full of deadly robots, to ultimately confront the ‘Master Xybot‘ and defeat it.
Awesome Golf, Atari Lynx
Developed by Hand Made Software and released exclusively for the Atari Lynx by Atari Corporation, Awesome Golf is a classic golf sim that both impressed critics and sold very well when it was first released in 1991. And it remains an excellent golf game to this day.
