The Deadly Tower of Monsters is a third-person action game, released in 2016, where you must climb a series of large towers, to complete various tasks, all presented like a parody of old fantasy and science fiction films. You can play as either a man (Dick Starspeed) or a woman (Scarlet Nova), and you can even play as the robot sidekick (just called “Robot“) at certain points too.

10th Frame, Commodore 64
10th Frame is a ten-pin bowling simulation that was developed by the same people who made the classic golf game, Leaderboard. It was first released by Access Software in 1986.
It’s A Knockout, ZX Spectrum
It’s A Knockout, also known as “Jeux sans frontières“, was a TV show where teams of contestants battled it out over various physical challenges, in order to win the most points.
The idea for the show came from French President Charles de Gaulle, whose wish was that French and German youth would meet in a series of games to reinforce the friendship between the two countries. The domestic BBC English language version of the show was called “It’s A Knockout“.
The TV show grew during the 1970s and became popular throughout Europe, with various countries getting their own local and national versions, and the winners going through to a European final where individual countries would take each other on. These finals were usually much bigger-budget, with elaborate costumes and challenges, than in the early rounds, and they were broadcast throughout Europe on a regular basis for at least a couple of decades. It’s A Knockout was a phenomenon back in the late 70s and 80s. It’s since been replaced by similar shows like Tekashi’s Castle.

Developed by UK-based Sumo Digital, OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast is an enhanced version of Sega‘s OutRun 2 arcade game, with extra tracks, cars and other features.
GoldenEye: Rogue Agent, GameCube
Developed by EA Los Angeles and published by EA Games for GameCube, PlayStation 2 and XBox in 2004, GoldenEye: Rogue Agent is an ‘anomaly’ in the James Bond video game franchise. Described as “non-canon“, and more of a “what if…” kind of video game experiment, Rogue Agent unfortunately doesn’t have any connection between it and the classic 1997 N64 game called “GoldenEye“. This did actually lead to players calling out Electronic Arts for deceptive use of the “GoldenEye” name.
Turok: Evolution, GameCube
Released for the GameCube in 2002, Turok: Evolution is the fourth game in the Turok series (fifth, if you count the non-canon Turok: Rage Wars), and serves as a prequel to Turok; Dinosaur Hunter (the first Turok game in this series), and will appeal to those who want a First-Person Shooter with dinosaurs in it. Because that is exactly what this game is!
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Games!, GameCube
Co-developed by Intelligent Systems and Nintendo R&D1, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Games!, is a collection of party-based minigames that are supposed to test your reactions and skill. And the games have “Wario-based japes” flavour to them.
