Penguin Wars 2, MSX
Sequel to the fun arcade game made by UPL and published by ASCII in 1985. This second game was released by ASCII on the MSX in 1988 and is an excellent continuation of the theme, which is similar to air hockey, but with animals playing against each other.

Ingenious rhythm game sequel starring everyone’s favourite rapping dog.
Chibi-Robo!, GameCube
Released in 2005 on the Nintendo GameCube in Japan, and 2006 everywhere else, Chibi-Robo! is a memorably cute third-person 3D exploration game in which you take control of a small, house-cleaning robot that must do chores for a nutty family in order to rise up the worldwide robo rankings.
The Magic Circle, PC

Maziacs, ZX Spectrum
This very early 1983 ZX Spectrum game by Don Priestley is still a joy to play to this day.
The premise is simple: you have to find the missing gold and return it to its rightful place.
Back To Skool, ZX Spectrum
Dave Reidy‘s sequel to Skool Daze is a brilliant comedy sandbox ‘school simulator’ where you play a kid trying to make his way through a ‘typical’ 1980s school day, by squirting water pistols (sometimes filled with sherry, which can intoxicate teachers, if fired at them accurately), sabotaging school shields (found on some walls), avoiding lines, writing on blackboards, and trying to sneak into the neighbouring girl’s school.
Portal 2, PC
Valve really outdid themselves with Portal 2. Following on from a game as brilliant as Portal, they knew it had to be good. And it is better than good. Portal 2 is incredible.
