Also known as Bubble Bobble DS in Japan, Bubble Bobble Revolution features a remake of Bubble Bobble as well as a separate conversion of the classic Bubble Bobble arcade game, and it is really good.

Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei, Super Nintendo
Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei (aka Megami Tensei: The Old Testament), is an enhanced remake of the first two Megami Tensei games that were originally released on the Nintendo Famicom. It was published in Japan for the Super Famicom in 1995.
Like most of the early Megami Tensei games these two titles weren’t released in the West due to them having controversial content based on religious and occult themes. Thankfully, though, they were liked enough by gamers to be given fan translations into English, and this SNES re-release was first fan-translated in 2014. It has also been fan translated into Spanish.
Shadow Warrior, PC
This remake of the classic Build engine shooter, Shadow Warrior, was developed by Flying Wild Hog and first released in 2013.
Like the original, it’s a hectic, balls-to-the-wall shooter that follows the exploits of a guy called Lo Wang and his fight against his boss, Orochi Zilla, and the mega corporation he commands (Zilla Industries).
I’ve played the second game extensively and really enjoyed it, so decided to buy this and see if it was any different. And it is!

Mega Bomberman, Megadrive/Genesis

Kung-Fu Master, Game Boy
Irem themselves developed and published this 1990 handheld, monochrome remake of the classic Kung-Fu Master, and it is not too bad, all things considered.
Sabre Wulf, Game Boy Advance
Yes: Rare actually re-made the classic Ultimate ZX Spectrum game, Sabre Wulf, and published it for the Game Boy Advance in 2004.
