Lunar Jetman, ZX Spectrum

Another hugely memorable Ultimate game (and the official sequel to the hit game Jet Pac), Lunar Jetman was first released in 1983 for the ZX Spectrum.

In spite of the difficult and challenging gameplay, in which you have to cover holes in the lunar surface in order to get your vehicle over it, Lunar Jetman was an instant hit because of the lovely graphics and refined presentation and gameplay. And it is still very highly thought of today. And still great fun to play.

Back then: Ultimate Play The Game could do no wrong, and their games really did inspire a generation. Maybe two or three generations, come to think of it… Hooray for Ultimate!
