Super Star Wars is a run-and-gun, side-scrolling action game based on the 1977 film Star Wars. It was developed by Sculptured Software and published by JVC for the Super Nintendo in 1992.

Run Saber, Super Nintendo
Run Saber is a side-scrolling action game developed by Hori Electric and published by Atlus in 1993 for the Super Nintendo. It is something of a clone of Capcom‘s classic arcade game, Strider.
Although Run Saber was developed in Japan it was only released in North America and Europe. A later Japanese release was cancelled.
Gemfire, Super Nintendo
Gemfire is a turn-based medieval strategy game developed and published by Koei. It was first released for the NES/Famicom in 1991 and given an updated Super Nintendo release in 1992.
The NES and Super Nintendo versions are essentially the same game, but the SNES version has updated graphics and sound.
Indiana Jones’ Greatest Adventures, Super Nintendo
Indiana Jones’ Greatest Adventures is a run-and-gun platform/action game developed by Factor 5 (the German team who made Super Turrican, among others), with the supervision of LucasArts, and published by JVC in 1994.
The game features sequences based on the first three Indiana Jones films; the first being Raiders of the Lost Ark obviously; the second being Temple of Doom (my favourite), and the third being The Last Crusade.

This sequel to Super Turrican was again created by German developer Factor 5 and was published by Ocean Software for the Super Nintendo in 1995.

The Dragon Quest series
The Dragon Quest series is a pioneering series of Role-Playing Games that was initially developed by Chunsoft and published by Enix in Japan. This series was responsible for setting the standard for Japanese Role-Playing Games for decades to come.
Emerald Dragon, Super Nintendo
Emerald Dragon is a Japan-only RPG that was developed by Alfa System and published by MediaWorks for the Super Nintendo in 1995. It was given an English fan translation (by Translation Corporation) in 2014, which is great because it is an excellent game!
Out to Lunch, Super Nintendo
Or, to give the game its full title: Pierre le Chef is… Out To Lunch. This side-scrolling platform game is all about a French chef trying to collect ingredients for his dishes by travelling to a variety of different countries to catch them.
The 1993 Super Nintendo version is the original, with the Amiga and CD32 ports coming later, in 1994. A Game Boy version was also released in 1993.
Ghoul Patrol, Super Nintendo
Ghoul Patrol is the 1994 sequel to Zombies Ate My Neighbors and it features gameplay and graphics very similar to its predecessor, which is no bad thing on the face of it, considering that Zombies Ate My Neighbors is a fun game.
