Fallout: New Vegas: Dead Money, PC

Dead Money is a DLC for Fallout: New Vegas that was first released in 2010 for the XBox 360, and later for PC and PlayStation 3 in 2011. It was one of six DLCs released for Fallout: New Vegas, and for my (dead) money it is by far the best.

Planet of the Apes, Game Boy Color

Planet of the Apes for the Game Boy Color was developed by Torus Games/Visiware and was first published by Ubisoft in 2001. It is based on the 1968 film of the same name, which in turn was based on the 1963 book by Pierre Boulle. Actually, to be more accurate, the game follows the plot of the 1970 sequel, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, more closely than it does the first film, where Brent (played by James Franciscus) crash-lands on a post-apocalyptic Earth on a rescue mission to find Taylor (Charlton Heston), and eventually finds himself held prisoner in an underground city run by telepathic humans.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, PC

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the fourth game in the Deus Ex series and a direct sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It was developed by Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix Europe in 2016. You once again play as augmented super-spy Adam Jensen and the story is set two years after Human Revolution.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a futuristic action RPG developed by Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix Europe in 2011. It is the third game in the Deus Ex series and is a prequel to the original Deus Ex.

Deus Ex: Invisible War is an action RPG developed by Ion Storm and published by Eidos in 2003. It is the second game in the Deus Ex series and is set twenty years after the first Deus Ex.

BioForge, PC

BioForge is a cyberpunk action/adventure developed by Origin Systems and published by Electronic Arts for PC MS-DOS in 1995. It is similar in style to Alone in the Dark or Resident Evil, with static backgrounds and animated 3D characters moving over them.

Vortex, Super Nintendo

Vortex is a 3D shoot ’em up developed by Argonaut Software and published by Electro Brain in North America, Sony in Europe, and Pack-In-Video in Japan in 1994. It is one of the few games (other than Star Fox, Stunt Race FX, Yoshi’s Island, Doom, Dirt Trax FX, Winter Gold, and Star Fox 2) to use the Super FX co-processor chip to allow for faster 3D graphics than the vanilla SNES is capable of.

The 2015 game, Mad Max, was developed by Swedish company Avalanche Studios and published by Warner Brothers Games. It is an action/adventure/Role-Playing Game based on the hit 2015 film, Mad Max: Fury Road, and it is pretty bloody amazing!

TRON 2.0, PC

TRON 2.0 is a first-person action RPG developed by Monolith Productions and published by Buena Vista Interactive in 2003. It is a sequel to the 1982 film, TRON, but is based in an alternate ‘reality’ due to the de-canonisation of the first film by the 2010 re-boot, Tron: Legacy.

Ion Fury, PC

Ion Fury is a cyberpunk-themed first-person shooter, developed by Voidpoint and published by 3D Realms in 2019. It is a prequel to the 2016 game, Bombshell.

Ion Fury runs on a modified version of Ken Silverman‘s Build Engine and is the first original commercial game to use the Build Engine in twenty years.
