Anachronox, PC [Part 1]
Anachronox is a weird-but-great mixture of RPG and action game, developed by Ion Storm and published by Eidos Interactive in 2001.
What is strange about it is the storyline, and the setting. It’s part ‘film noir-ish’ detective story; part comedy – part sci-fi fantasy; set across six different planets in a far-flung future, packed full of bizarre characters, environments and quests.

Dirty Harry, NES
Based on the infamous Clint Eastwood film of the same name, Dirty Harry – the video game – is a fairly basic platform shooter released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990.
Shadow Warrior 2, PC
A modern remake of the classic 3D Realms shooter is a great idea – the original adventures of Lo Wang (the lead character in the Shadow Warrior games, and the character you play in this) were a lot of fun.
Cannon Fodder 2, Amiga
Cannon Fodder 2 is for players who want more Cannon Fodder action, and simply did not get enough of its predecessor. Sadly, it’s not quite as good as the first game, so may cause an overdose…
Laser Squad, Atari ST
Laser Squad was a great strategy game on early 8-bit home computers. This Atari ST 16-bit conversion retains the same excellent turn-based gameplay, but updates the graphics with extra colours and frame rates.
