Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder is the 1992 sequel to the classic 1989 arcade game, Golden Axe. It features four new playable characters, more detailed graphics and four-player simultaneous gameplay (although that was dependent on the cabinet – variations were available to arcade operators).

The Sega Master System version of Capcom‘s classic arcade game, Ghouls ‘N Ghosts, was developed and published by Sega in 1989, and it is a cut-down version of the original and is also easier to play.
Also known as “Vampire: Master of Darkness” in some regions, this overt Castlevania clone was developed by SIMS and published by Sega for the Master System and Game Gear in 1992. Some consider it to be the best of its kind on the Master System.
The 1991 Game Gear version of Paperboy looks and plays somewhat similar to the Sega Master System version, which is no bad thing because the Master System version is one of the best conversions of Paperboy around.
The 1990 Sega Master System version of Paperboy was developed by Tiertex and is definitely one of the best versions of Paperboy around.
Alongside Donkey Kong, Sega‘s Zaxxon was another ColecoVision arcade conversion that wowed gamers back in 1982 when they first saw it. And it was so close to the original that it drove sales of the console itself, because gamers wanted the arcade experience in their own homes.
The Megadrive/Genesis version of Bits Studios‘ Mary Shelley‘s Frankenstein is a bit of a poor relation to the Super Nintendo version of the game. Mainly because the lack of colour in the visuals tends to make this version look a bit rough when compared to the SNES version. But it is what it is: a fairly bog standard platform game loosely based on Kenneth Branagh‘s 1994 film.

In Sega‘s 1984 arcade game, Future Spy, you fly an F-15 jet fighter across an isometric landscape, shooting down enemy aircraft while at the same time dropping bombs on ships, submarines, and ground forces.
Developed and published by Sega in 1995, Clockwork Knight 2 (aka Pepperouchau’s Adventure) is the sequel to Clockwork Knight, which was released the previous year. It’s a Saturn exclusive platform game with gameplay similar to its predecessor, but with a number of changes and additions.
Developed by Extended Play Productions and published by Sega in 1992, Chakan: The Forever Man is based on the comic of the same name by Robert A. Kraus and features a protagonist, called Chakan, who is so confident of his swordsmanship that he declares that even ‘Death’ cannot beat him. Death appears and challenges Chakan – if Chaken can defeat him, he will be granted eternal life. However, if Death wins then Chakan will become Death’s eternal servant.
