Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos, PC
Westwood Studios‘ 1993 RPG Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos is a Dungeon Master-like first-person, real-time action game with spells and combat and plenty of monsters out to end your life.
Las Vegas-based Westwood, coincidentally, were developers of the first two Eye of the Beholder games, but dropped the franchise in favour of developing Lands of Lore, their own IP.
Icewind Dale II, PC
Icewind Dale II is an Infinity Engine-based RPG released by Interplay in 2002. This sequel was developed by Black Isle Studios and was the final game to be developed for the Infinity Engine.

The Black Pits II: Gladiators of Thay is an arena combat-based add-on for the Baldur’s Gate II series, given away free with the Enhanced Edition in 2013.
Baldur’s Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, PC
The second of two Baldur’s Gate II titles, this one released by Interplay in 2001. Throne of Bhaal is a real-time Role-Playing Game, based on the BioWare Infinity Engine, and it completes the main plot of the Baldur’s Gate series of games.

Part one of a two-part Baldur’s Gate II series, first published by Interplay in 2000. Shadows of Amn uses an updated version of the Infinity Engine to provide isometric, real-time combat and adventuring.
Legend of Grimrock II, PC
A brilliant sequel to the tile-based RPG of 2012, Legend of Grimrock II is more of the same atmospheric adventuring from developer Almost Human, but with 2014‘s new content and ideas.
Grimrock 2 begins after a shipwreck; on a beach, with rocky, exterior locations, which is a surprising and refreshing way to start a game like this. You can even walk in the shallow water, which is nice, and on the very first level the shallow water holds an important secret. Don’t miss it.
The Elder Scrolls Series, PC
There’s been approximately four years on average, between episodes of The Elder Scrolls series, and we are currently long overdue an announcement on a follow-up to 2011’s Skyrim. At the time of writing, it’s been eight years since Skyrim, and three years since the remaster.
