Developed by TOSE Co., Ltd. and published by Victor Interactive Software in Japan and Natsume in North America and Europe, Legend of the River King is a JRPG that is based around the sport/pastime of fishing. It was initially released for the Game Boy in 1997, and the Game Boy Color version (which is Super Game Boy enhanced) came out in 1999.

Developed and published for the Megadrive/Genesis by Interplay Productions in 1994, Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure is a humorous platform game starring a ‘superhero’ whose abilities are: burping, farting, and flicking ‘boogers’ at enemies to kill them… And, while that may sound puerile and stupid to some, this is actually a game with high production values and decent gameplay backing it up.

Developed by Produce! and published by Hudson Soft – in Japan only – in 1996, Super Bomberman 4 thankfully does have a fan translation available, which makes the game fully playable in English.

Rygar, Atari Lynx
A port of the 1986 Tecmo arcade game, Rygar on the Atari Lynx is a side-scrolling action game where the hero utilises a thrown shield – called The Diskarmor – to destroy his enemies. Rygar was ported to the Lynx by Haehn Software Productions for NuFX, and published by Atari Corporation in 1990.
