This 1995 Game Gear Judge Dredd game is based on the film of the same name starring Sylvester Stallone. It was developed by Probe Software and published by Acclaim Entertainment.
Judge Dredd on the Game Boy is a port of the Super Nintendo platform game, which is based on the 1995 Judge Dredd film starring Sylvester Stallone. It was developed by Probe Software and published by Acclaim the same year as the film’s release.
Boulder Dash: Rocks! was developed and published by German company 10tacle and released in Europe and Australia in 2007. It is a dual-screen remake of the classic action/puzzle game, Boulder Dash.
Boulder Dash EX is an updated version of the classic Boulder Dash, developed by Vision Works and published by KEMCO in 2002. And it’s not bad at all.
The Game Boy version of Boulder Dash was programmed by Beam Software and is somewhat similar to the NES version (not exactly the same since it was developed by a completely different company). It is a jolly re-imagining with different graphics, but the same devious level designs as the original. And it is of course monochrome, rather than colour.
Dragon’s Lair: The Legend is a 1991 platform game for the Nintendo Game Boy, developed by Motivetime and published by Elite Systems in Europe and Sony Imagesoft in North America.
Bizarrely, the game is a remake of the classic 1985 ZX Spectrum game Roller Coaster, but with Dragon’s Lair-style graphics and sound effects. Which is not a bad thing because Roller Coaster is a great game.
Pokémon Black Version 2 is a direct sequel to Pokémon Black Version (and White Version 2 is a direct sequel to White Version), and was released for the Nintendo DS in 2012 by The Pokémon Company. It was again developed by Game Freak, and takes place once more in the Unova region.
The story this time is set two years after the events of Black and White and the criminal organisation Team Plasma have returned as ‘Neo Team Plasma‘, and the player must once again thwart their plans to rule the world.
What makes this game really special, though, are the new features and the incredible density of content. Few games have the sheer level of detail as Pokémon Black and White do.

Released in 2010 for the Nintendo DS, Pokémon Black and White are fifth generation Pokémon games that take place in the Unova region. They were once again developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company. I tossed a coin and chose to play Black Version for this playthrough, which is what these screenshots are from.
I took over twenty thousand grabs while playing this game and whittled them down to a thousand, then to 400 of the best shots. And because I’ve got quite a bit to say about Pokémon Black Version I decided to split this article into two parts.
