Devil’s Crush is the sequel to the classic console pinball game Alien Crush, developed by Compile and first published for the PC Engine in 1990 by NAXAT Soft in Japan (as Devil Crash), NEC in North America, and Tengen in the UK. It is the second game in the Crush Pinball series.

Sonic Adventure 2, Dreamcast
The sequel to Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 is more of the same 3D running and platforming, with everyone’s favourite blue hedgehog (and friends), although this time there’s a bit more to the game than just blasting through the courses.

Sega‘s first attempt to make a fully 3D Sonic game was first published on the Dreamcast on December 23rd 1998, and while it’s not a bad game – it’s not a great one either.
Championship Pro-Am, Megadrive/Genesis
Championship Pro-Am is an “enhanced” remake of the classic NES racing game R.C. Pro-Am. It was developed by Rare and published on the Megadrive/Genesis by Tradewest in 1992.
I’m emphasising the word “enhanced” here out of pure sarcasm, because – when you look at the game closely – there is very little that is actually enhanced over the original, other than the graphics. In fact: it is a very bare bones port and the Megadrive deserved better from Rare.
James Pond 3: Operation Starfish, Amiga
The third and final game in the James Pond trilogy was written by Chris Sorrell and published by Millennium Interactive in 1993.
James Pond 3: Operation Starfish was originally developed for the Megadrive/Genesis and was later converted to AGA-based Amigas (the A1200, A4000 and CD32), but was not available on Amigas below that specification.
Deathchase XE, Atari 8-bit
Based on the classic 1983 ZX Spectrum game by Mervyn Escourt, Deathchase XE is an Atari 8-bit remake first released in 2013. It is a first-person bike shooting game where the aim is to speed through a forest full of trees, shooting enemy bikers, helicopters and tanks, while at the same time avoiding collisions with arboreal obstacles that come zooming towards you.
Gauntlet, Sega Master System
The Sega Master System conversion of Atari‘s classic arcade game Gauntlet is surprisingly good. For starters: it’s got the fastest fire rate of any of the home versions available, and it plays with a high intensity. This does, however, make the game especially challenging because the health of your heroes does tend to go down rather quickly.
Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament, Game Gear
Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament is the even better sequel to the excellent Micro Machines. It is a single or multiplayer overhead racing game where you race different types of toy vehicles on a variety of miniature courses.
