This 1986 adaptation of Judge Dredd – the infamous cop of the future who debuted in 2000AD comic – was developed by Beam Software and published by Melbourne House, and it’s a bit of a travesty to be honest.

Strontium Dog and the Death Gauntlet, Commodore 64
Strontium Dog and the Death Gauntlet for the Commodore 64 was the first properly-licensed video game based on a 2000AD character. It was coded by Stephen Kellett; co-designed by Mark Eyles, and published by Quicksilva in 1984.

Killer Gorilla, BBC Micro
Killer Gorilla is a throwback to the bad old days when companies could get away with releasing any old crap and people would still lap it up.
That Killer Gorilla was ever sold commercially is incredible in itself; never mind the fact that it was so popular that it was re-released numerous times. In reality it was nothing more than a coding experiment made by a kid who wanted to try to replicate Nintendo‘s arcade game, Donkey Kong.
Wall Street, Arcade
This weird arcade game was developed and manufactured by Century Electronics in 1982. It features two distinct stages: one where you have to bounce falling stockbrokers into an ambulance using a trampoline, and a second where you have to collect money inside a maze of chasing tanks.
Leaderboard, Amstrad CPC
The 1987 Amstrad CPC conversion of Leaderboard was developed by Canvas – the same team who made the ZX Spectrum version. And – in truth – it’s definitely the worst version of Leaderboard available, falling massively short of the Commodore 64 original.
Booty, Commodore 16/Plus4

The game constantly dumps unfairness on you, and is about as entertaining as being crawled on by a Brazilian Wandering Spider.
Leprechaun, Arcade
Ugh… Now this is a turkey of a game if ever I saw one… Created by Tong Electronics in 1982, Leprechaun is a dour collect ’em up that was designed for children but in fact offends their intelligence.
In fact: it would probably offend everyone now, except for those people who want to play the worst video games of all time, in which case it is probably mana from heaven…
Ghostbusters, Atari 2600
Playing Ghostbusters on the Atari 2600 – after having played the original – is one of those “What The F**k?!” gaming moments that will probably stay with you forever…
Dangerous Streets, Amiga CD32
Developed by Micromania and published by Flair Software 1994, Dangerous Streets is an infamous fighting game for the Amiga and CD32. Infamous because it is so bad…
Ultimate Body Blows, Amiga CD32
Aye, aye, aye… The last time I was so bitterly disappointed by a beat ’em up was probably Ultra Vortek on the Atari Jaguar… Ultimate Body Blows looks promising initially, but on further inspection turns out to be a bit of a stinker…
