The “EO” part of Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO means: “Easy Operation”. Basically, this is the same game as the classic arcade beat ’em up of 2001, but with controls better suited to a gamepad. So, rather than hitting buttons to perform special attacks, you can now move the right analogue stick in a certain direction to activate them instead.

Darkwatch, XBox
Developed by High Moon Studios, Darkwatch is a First-Person Shooter/survival horror game that crosses the American “Wild West” with ghosts, zombies and werewolves and that kind of material.
When it was first released, back in 2005, is was quite impressive for the time. In this day and age Darkwatch looks and plays very simply, but is not entirely without its redeeming features.
Top Spin, XBox
PAM Development‘s 2003 release, Top Spin, was the moment when tennis games came of age and went full 3D.
From Match Point on the ZX Spectrum, via Super Tennis on the Super Nintendo, to this… Arguably the pinnacle of all modern tennis games.
The House of the Dead III, XBox
Over-the-top, first-person, survival horror blasting action, for one or two players!
House of the Dead III first came out in arcades in 2002, followed by XBox and other home versions, in 2003.
Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, XBox
Considered by many to be one of the scariest games ever made, Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly first came out on the PlayStation 2 in 2003, with the XBox version following in 2004.
Morrowind, XBox
In my opinion the Morrowind Game of the Year Edition on the XBox is even better than the much-loved PC original, because the controls are more intuitive.
You may scoff, but having played all the Elder Scrolls games to death over the past two decades, and having written about them a lot in many different magazines, I think that qualifies me to override the opinion of someone who hasn’t done any of those things! 😀
