There was a release of Paperboy for the original Game Boy in 1990, plus it was also released for the Game Boy Color in 1999.

Paperboy, BBC Micro
The 1986 BBC Micro version of Paperboy was programmed by Andy Williams for Elite Systems, and it is a barely-playable monochrome experience at best. At worst: a forgettable waste of time.
Adventure Island II, Game Boy
Adventure Island II on the Game Boy is actually a port of Adventure Island III on the NES/Famicom. The Game Boy Adventure Island numbering scheme ignores the first game in the series and this 1993 handheld conversion is the rather excellent part three for the NES/Famicom, but re-titled as part two for the OG Game Boy. Because it’s always fun to confuse people with mismatched titles in a series…
Adventure Island, Game Boy
Thankfully this is an adaption of Adventure Island II on the NES/Famicom, rather than a port of the original Adventure Island. I say “Thankfully” because the original Adventure Island was nothing more than a port of the Sega‘s 1986 arcade game, Wonder Boy, and Adventure Island II on the NES/Famicom was a step towards something a bit more substantial. Which is what we’re getting here.
Dr. Franken II, Game Boy
Dr. Franken II is the sequel to the Game Boy platform game, Dr. Franken, and is once again a satirical take on Mary Shelley‘s classic horror story, Frankenstein. It was developed by Motivetime and published by Elite Systems in 1993 (some sources online say “1997”, but that doesn’t seem to be right; it doesn’t make sense that a sequel would be released five years after the original game, on a time-limited handheld console).
Dr. Franken, Game Boy
Developed by Motivetime and published by KEMCO in 1992, Dr. Franken is a platform game based loosely on Mary Shelley‘s classic horror story, Frankenstein, but delivered in a satirical, humorous manner.
BurgerTime Deluxe, Game Boy
BurgerTime Deluxe is an enhanced remake of the classic 1982 arcade game, BurgerTime, released exclusively for the original Game Boy. It was developed and published by Data East in 1991.
Championship Pool, Game Boy
Championship Pool on the Game Boy is a conversion of the classic Bitmasters NES/SNES pool simulation, which some think is arguably the best video game pool sim ever made (myself included). It was first released by Mindscape in 1993.
Super Hunchback, Game Boy
Developed by Ocean Software and first published in 1992, Super Hunchback is a sequel to the Hunchback games that were successful in the mid 1980s (which were all based on the arcade game, Hunchback, by Century Electronics).
Parasol Stars, Game Boy
Taito‘s brilliant Parasol Stars (aka The Story of Bubble Bobble III) made an appearance on the original black and white Game Boy in 1992, courtesy of Ocean Software. In spite of the lack of colour the game is a faithful conversion of the original game (which first came out on the PC Engine), with cute graphics and wonderful, jolly tunes, and it is sure to bring joy to the heart of anyone who plays it.
