The Atari Lynx port of Shadow of the Beast was developed by Digital Developments and first published by Psygnosis in 1992. And it is surprisingly good.

Shadow of the Beast, PC Engine
The PC Engine CD version of Shadow of the Beast is – in my opinion – the best version of the game available. For two reasons: it has the most responsive controls of any version of Shadow of the Beast I’ve played (even compared to the Amiga original), and it’s also the best-looking and best-sounding version of the game too. It was developed by DMA Design and first published in 1992. In Japan it was released by Victor Interactive Software as “Mashou no Okite“, and in North America it was released for the TurboGrafx CD by Psygnosis/Turbo Technologies.
Shadow of the Beast, Sega Master System
Shadow of the Beast for the Sega Master System was developed by TecMagik and published by Psygnosis in 1992, and this port has some differences to the Amiga original – arguably to its detriment.
Last Resort, Neo Geo
Last Resort is a scrolling ‘bullet hell‘ shooter developed by SNK and first released as an arcade game, on Neo Geo MVS hardware, in 1992. From what I can ascertain it doesn’t seem to have been released on cartridge for Neo Geo AES home systems, but it was later released on the Neo Geo CD.
Marble Madness, Sega Master System
The Sega Master System version of Atari‘s Marble Madness was programmed by Steve Lamb and published by Tengen in 1992 and it is a relatively decent port overall.
Cameltry, Super Nintendo
Cameltry is a simple-but-absorbing gravity game where you rotate the landscape around in order to make a ball fall through a maze – eventually reaching the goal. The quicker you complete a level the more chance you have of extra time being added to your next round.
Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder, Arcade
Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder is the 1992 sequel to the classic 1989 arcade game, Golden Axe. It features four new playable characters, more detailed graphics and four-player simultaneous gameplay (although that was dependent on the cabinet – variations were available to arcade operators).

Alisia Dragoon, Megadrive/Genesis
Alisia Dragoon is a fantasy, side-scrolling run-and-gun shooter with platforming elements, developed by Game Arts in collaboration with Japanese animation studio Gainax. It was released exclusively for the Sega Megadrive/Genesis in 1992.
Master of Darkness, Sega Master System
Also known as “Vampire: Master of Darkness” in some regions, this overt Castlevania clone was developed by SIMS and published by Sega for the Master System and Game Gear in 1992. Some consider it to be the best of its kind on the Master System.
Wizards & Warriors III: Kuros: Visions of Power, NES/Famicom
The third game in the Wizards & Warriors series was released for the NES in North America in 1992 and in Europe in 1993. It was once again developed by Zippo Games for Rare, although the game did encounter a few issues during development*, and was published by Acclaim Entertainment.
