Spore, Commodore 16/Plus4

Another conversion, but a damn good one, and worthy of a place in any Commodore 16 fan’s collection.

Shrunk down to fit into just 16K, Spore is a overhead maze shooter with simple graphics and excellent mechanics. A bit like a simplified version of Gauntlet in some respects, but far more frantic.

Jetbrix, Commodore 16/Plus4

Jetbrix is a 1986 release from Gremlin Graphics. It is another gem from the prolific Shaun Southern – the creator of Kikstart (among others).

It looks a bit like a cross between Tetris and Jet Pac, although it’s really not like either.

Millipede is a direct sequel to Atari‘s Centipede and was first distributed into video game arcades in 1982.
