The Commodore 64 version of the classic Atari 8-bit helicopter shooter, Fort Apocalypse, was ported by Joe Vierra and published by Synapse Software in North America in 1982. US Gold published the game in Europe slightly later.

Fight Night is a cartoony boxing game developed by Canadian company Sydney Development and published by Accolade in North America and US Gold in Europe in 1985.
Rocket Roger, Commodore 64
Rocket Roger is a scrolling action game written by Steve Evans and published by Alligata Software in 1984. In it you control the titular Roger who must fly around using a jet pack and collect crystals from a series of underground caves. The crystals are needed to power your spaceship and you need to collect 99 of them to escape the planet.
Hydrofool, ZX Spectrum
Hydrofool was developed by Gargoyle Games and published by Faster Than Light in 1987. It’s the sequel to Sweevo’s World which was released in 1986.
Sweevo’s World, ZX Spectrum
Sweevo’s World is an isometric adventure/puzzle game developed and published by Gargoyle Games in 1986. The initial release was for 48K Spectrums although an enhanced version for the Spectrum 128K, called Sweevo’s Whirled, was also released later.
Alien, ZX Spectrum
Developed by Concept Software and published by Argus Press in 1984, this adaptation of the classic 1979 film, Alien, is arguably the first serious video game based on the Alien series (I certainly wouldn’t describe the Atari 2600 version of Alien as ‘serious’).
Voidrunner, Commodore 64
Voidrunner is second sequel to Gridrunner, the famous Llamasoft grid-based shooter that author Jeff Minter was evolving throughout the 1980s. The C64 version was first published by Mastertronic in 1987, following on from the C16/Plus 4 original.
Return of the Mutant Camels, Commodore 64
Return of the Mutant Camels is the third game in the Llamasoft ‘Camels‘ series, after Attack of the Mutant Camels and Revenge of the Mutant Camels, and it is arguably the best of the bunch. It was first published by Mastertronic in 1987 as a budget game.
Mama Llama, Commodore 64
Mama Llama is a scrolling action game where you have to protect a family of llamas from attack with a robotic sphere called a “Killdroid” while destroying waves of enemies on a 10×10 grid. It was written by Jeff Minter and first released by Llamasoft in 1985.
