Turok: Evolution, GameCube

Released for the GameCube in 2002, Turok: Evolution is the fourth game in the Turok series (fifth, if you count the non-canon Turok: Rage Wars), and serves as a prequel to Turok; Dinosaur Hunter (the first Turok game in this series), and will appeal to those who want a First-Person Shooter with dinosaurs in it. Because that is exactly what this game is!

The Kristal, Amiga

The Kristal is an obscure British adventure game based on an un-produced theatre play written in 1976 (called “The Kristal of Konos“), developed by Fissionchip Software and published by Addictive Games in Europe and Cinemaware in North America. The fact that Cinemaware picked up The Kristal for distribution in the US and Canada is a surprise in itself, as that kind of thing didn’t happen very often back in 1989 when this game was first released.

Earthlight, ZX Spectrum

Pete Cooke‘s Earthlight is an unusual side-scrolling shoot ’em up with extremely nice graphics. It was originally published for the ZX Spectrum by Firebird in 1988.
