Bomberman 64: The Second Attack!, Nintendo 64

Bomberman 64: The Second Attack! is actually the second Bomberman sequel on the Nintendo 64, so could have been called “The Third Attack!“, but it is a direct sequel to Bomberman 64, thus the name. It was developed by Hudson Soft and published by Hudson themselves in Japan in 1999, and by Vatical Entertainment in North America in 2000, and it is another fully-3D Bomberman game.

Neutopia, PC Engine

Neutopia is a Zelda-like action adventure game developed by Hudson Soft and published for the PC Engine in Japan in 1989, and for the TurboGrafx-16 in North America in 1990. The game takes places in the land of Neutopia, where the evil demon Dirth has captured Princess Aurora and stolen eight medallions that are needed to maintain peace throughout the land. Your job – as the protagonist Jazeta – is to rescue the princess, retrieve the medallions, and defeat Dirth; saving Neutopia and its people.

Do-Re-Mi Fantasy, Super Nintendo

Published in Japan by Hudson Soft in 1996, Do-Re-Mi Fantasy is a cute and colourful platform game that is actually the sequel to the Famicom game Milon’s Secret Castle.

Do-Re-Mi Fantasy doesn’t really look like Milon’s Secret Castle – or play like it for that matter – but it does share the same bubble-blowing DNA as its predecessor.
