Carmageddon, Game Boy Color

Believe it or not: the Game Boy Color has a version of the infamous Carmageddon available for it, with overhead scrolling streets and tiny pedestrian zombies that you can run down in a variety of different cars. It was developed by Aqua Pacific and first published by Sales Curve Interactive in Europe and Titus in North America in 2000.

Lamborghini American Challenge, Amiga CD32

Published by Titus in 1994, Lamborghini American Challenge is a decent 2D racing game originally published on the Amiga under the title Crazy Cars III.

Monster Max, Game Boy

Monster Max on the Game Boy is a direct descendant of the classic isometric platform game Head Over Heels, it having been created by Jon Ritman and Bernie Drummond – the same team who made Head Over Heels, and a string of other hits on the ZX Spectrum.

And Monster Max is a brilliant little game! The movement, jumping and inertia are slightly more refined than in some of their other games, which makes Monster Max a joy to play.
