Contact Sam Cruise is a highly-regarded and entertaining action adventure game designed by Dave Reidy, the guy who created the classic Skool Daze. It was published by Microsphere in 1986.
Who programmed Wheelie? That’s a question I’d like an answer to.
Having played and enjoyed this side-scrolling motorbike game back in 1983, when it was originally released by publisher Microsphere, and having played it again recently, I would like to at least mention the person who made it.
Dave Reidy, and his wife Helen (a school teacher at the time), devised and made Skool Daze for Microsphere, way back in 1984.
This memorable ‘school simulator’ was an instant hit with gamers at the time.
Dave Reidy‘s sequel to Skool Daze is a brilliant comedy sandbox ‘school simulator’ where you play a kid trying to make his way through a ‘typical’ 1980s school day, by squirting water pistols (sometimes filled with sherry, which can intoxicate teachers, if fired at them accurately), sabotaging school shields (found on some walls), avoiding lines, writing on blackboards, and trying to sneak into the neighbouring girl’s school.
