Worms: The Director’s Cut on the CD32 is a beautifully smooth and playable conversion of the Amiga original, with the same highly compelling and ultra-competitive ‘versus’ gameplay.
If you ignore the annoying name entry system (which wipes your custom names if you accidentally change the name of a team, which is bollocks…), then there’s little to fault here. Well, that is: unless you compare it to the PlayStation version, which I think is still the definitive version of Worms.
The Amiga CD32 version of Worms was first published by Team 17 in 1995.
