Developed by LucasArts and first published in 2002, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter is a third-person action game in which you play as Jango Fett, and it is also a prequel to the Star Wars film: Attack of the Clones.
Story-wise, Jango Fett has been hired by Darth Tyranus, a Sith Lord, to eliminate the ‘Dark Jedi’, Komari Vosa, who he is trying to track down. And, during his investigations, he is dragged into a trafficing conspiracy, and into conflict with a variety of gangs and old rivals.
Gameplay-wise, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter is absorbing enough to be enjoyable, although it is much more of a ‘lock-on’ shooter than a true FPS. It’s very similar to Metroid Prime in that sense.
Overall, Bounty Hunter is a worthwhile Star Wars game. It certainly doesn’t feel like the licensed churnware that plagued some systems after George Lucas got the prequels out of his system.
May the fourth be with you! 😀
