The 1992 Amstrad CPC version of Ocean‘s ubiquitous The Addams Family is probably the ugliest out of all the versions. The chunky pixels and small play window certainly don’t make for much to look at.
Playing the Amstrad version is a real slog too. Gomez is sluggish to start moving, which makes some early parts of the game needlessly difficult. I had little joy when playing this game because of it…
Amstrad Addams Family is disappointing from Ocean, IMHO.
