Published by Incentive Software in 1991, Total Eclipse 2: The Sphinx Jinx is a direct follow-up to the 1988 Freescape classic, Total Eclipse.
It plays similarly to its predecessor, but with a more contained set of puzzles/rooms available to the player.
It’s more interesting, in terms of the 3D environment, and also a bit more forgiving than its predecessor, giving you more time to explore.
Again: if you can’t handle the slow pace – whack up the emulator clock speed and see if you can find a playable mode.
