Maziacs, ZX Spectrum

This very early 1983 ZX Spectrum game by Don Priestley is still a joy to play to this day.

The premise is simple: you have to find the missing gold and return it to its rightful place.

Only trouble is: the gold is hidden in a maze filled with creepy-looking (and sounding) monsters, called Maziacs. You can ask a chained prisoner for directions, but make sure you have a sword in your hand when you encounter a monster!

Maziacs is a great little action/maze game with tense combat and atmospheric sound. Well worth looking up and playing now!
