Although the mighty Dungeon Master did come out on the Atari ST first, its best incarnation can be found on the PC, in MS-DOS.
It runs beautifully in DOS Box and still plays like a dream. Or, rather: a nightmare! Few games will ever make you sweat like the mighty Dungeon Master!

Classic Dungeon Master opening.
Attacked by mummies!
Daroou’s inventory screen. Some bread and a chicken drumstick.

Thumping the door on their heads.
One mummy is dead thanks to a fireball spell.
Tiggy needs more practise at everything.
Trolin patrol! Chop ’em to pieces!
Rockpiles are annoying because they block the route until killed. They can also poison with a bite.
Ooh heck! It’s all gone dark!
Trolin in the distance as I look over my loot.
Halk has been poisoned! Quick: administer the antidote!
Biting Rockpile in the way!
If there’s no other way through: bash the door in.
39 damage to the Screamers that are blocking my way.
Giant Wasps are scary! Don’t get stung!
Magenta Worms are a serious threat to begin with. Less so later on.
