The Game Boy conversion of Prince of Persia was released in 1992 by Virgin Games, and it is not too shabby at all.
It’s not perfect; for some reason the sword fighting doesn’t seem to work as well as in the Game Boy Color version, but it doesn’t ruin the game. And for some inexplicable reason the first skeleton fight has been replaced with a ‘ghost’ fight instead.
This Game Boy version of Prince of Persia was programmed by the same guy who made the Game Boy Color version (Ed Magnin), although that came out seven years later in 1999. Both versions are almost identical (barring for the colour of the later version, obviously), although the skeleton fight has been reinstated in the Game Boy Color release.
