Andrew Braybrook‘s classic C64 shooter, Uridium, was given a 16-bit release courtesy of Joe Hellesen and Mindscape in 1986.
The only real downside is that the game doesn’t seem to include the destruction sequence of the Manta flying over the disintegrating dreadnaught. Which is a pity because – otherwise – this is a cracking conversion.
Uridium‘s chunky, Commodore 64 graphics look great with new colours on the ST. The horizontal scrolling is good – perfect even, if using an ST with a Blitter chip.
