A conversion of the 1981 arcade game (of the same name) from Konami, and published by Stern in North America in 1982.
Amidar is a simple, grid-capture paint game, where you have to avoid colliding with chasing monsters while trying to move over lines, and ultimately trying to fill the blank areas inside the boxes.
If you manage to fill all four corner boxes of the grid, the chasing enemies will turn into ducks, allowing you to squish them for extra points.
Amidar is not a bad game on the Atari 2600. While the visuals and sonics are not up to much, the gameplay itself is reasonably compelling.
