Total Eclipse, Commodore 64

Major DevelopmentsTotal Eclipse was released for the Commodore 64 by Incentive Software in 1988.

In Total Eclipse you must explore a mysterious pyramid to find water, before you die of thirst.

The game’s visual style is excellent, and the C64 version definitely looks better than the Spectrum original, but unfortunately has a slower frame rate. You can increase the clock speed in an emulator to speed up the gameplay, but that also means you run out of water quicker.

A direct sequel, called Total Eclipse 2: The Sphinx Jinx, was also released in 1991.
