Bubble Bobble, Famicom Disk System

The Famicom Disk System version of Bubble Bobble is mostly the same as the NES version, although it came out slightly earlier and was supplied on a two-sided floppy disk.

There are also some subtle differences to the background graphics between this and the NES version, but essentially the gameplay is the same in both.

You have to flip the disk to start the game and there are also loading intervals during some levels (the game seems to load levels in batches). And, rather than using passwords (like in the NES version), you can save your progress on the disk.

Overall, this is an excellent conversion of the classic Bubble Bobble arcade game that is well worth playing.
