Fred, ZX Spectrum

Fred was one of two Spanish video games licensed by Quicksilva for release on the ZX Spectrum in the UK in 1983.

Both were made by Indescomp, and the other game was the legendary Bugaboo.

This one – Fred – is a playable maze/climbing game where you have to avoid Eygptian ghosts and other meanies that can kill you, while at the same time looking for an escape from the tomb. You’ve got a gun and can use it, though only a limited number of times. Some monsters are immune to bullets too…

Fred is a nostalgic maze-style challenge game from the early days of the Spanish game development scene.
