Revenge of the Mutant Camels, Amiga

The Amiga version of Revenge of the Mutant Camels was coded by Jeff Minter himself and was first released through Llamasoft in 1992.

Minter considers the Amiga version his best version of ‘Revenge‘, and who are we to argue with him? In the 16-bit versions your camel has a sidekick that can shoot enemies with you, although it does makes things more confusing on-screen.

Graphically, the game is cartoony, garish, and somewhat amateurish. Gameplay-wise, it’s not a bad game, but nothing special. If you like animals, and also like scrolling shoot ’em ups, then you might enjoy Revenge of the Mutant Camels.
