Dirty Harry, NES

Based on the infamous Clint Eastwood film of the same name, Dirty Harry – the video game – is a fairly basic platform shooter released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990.

Although Dirty Harry looks pretty rubbish, there is actually a game in there. Mostly involving you finding your way through an urban maze, and punching and shooting bad guys, but a game nonetheless.

Little attempt has been made to interpret Lalo Shifrin‘s classic Dirty Harry movie score though. The in-game music is pretty poor, and also a huge missed opportunity.

Developed by US firm Gray Matter, headed by Chris Gray of Infiltrator, Whirlinurd, and Fiendish Freddy’s Big Top ‘O Fun fame.
