The NES version of the famous 1981 arcade game, Qix, was developed by Novotrade and published by Taito of America in 1991.
Qix is one of those games that is beautifully simple to understand and play, but terrifyingly hard to make real progress in, and the game’s difficulty has been well judged by Novotrade.
It is a decent conversion of the arcade game, with the same gameplay. The colour palette of the NES port is a little drab (compared to the arcade game), but the all-important gameplay is as fun and as challenging as ever.
