Qix, Arcade

Qix is an early Taito arcade game – first released in 1981 – and featuring gameplay that requires the player to section off areas of the screen using a marker that can draw lines on the playfield.

If the marker, or the line you are drawing, are touched by the floating Qix, then you lose a life.

Sparks also chase you around the lines you draw, further jeopardising your progress, and – as you render the play area smaller – it becomes more difficult to make a move.

Classic arcade gaming!
