The Atari 800 version of Doug Smith‘s classic Lode Runner was one of the first round of original releases, by Broderbund, in 1983.
The classic gameplay and titchy graphics translate well, except in the case of the weird alternative monochrome version, which must’ve been supplied for people with black and white monitors. It looks hideous anyway…
Thankfully the colour version looks and plays like the Lode Runner we know and love.
