The Game Boy Advance version of Atari‘s classic Gauntlet was released as a double-pack, with Rampart, in 2005. It was developed by EC-Interactive and published by Destination Software, and is pretty close to the arcade original, but doesn’t offer a multiplayer option, in spite of the GBA‘s link-up capabilities.
The play window is obviously smaller than the arcade original, but it doesn’t really affect the game negatively in any noticeable way, other than being able to see less of a level at any one time.
As far as I can tell, all the levels are the same as the arcade version of Gauntlet. The game also has all the digitised speech of the original, and – graphically – it looks very authentic.
Overall, this is a decent port, and the only criticisms I have of it are: the occasional spelling mistake (“lesser” spelt “lesset” in one instance – see if you can spot it in the screenshots below), and the aforementioned lack of multiplayer.
