Ported by Chris Clark of Salamander Software and first published in 1984, Metagalactic Llamas: Battle at the Edge of Time is a straightforward conversion of the VIC-20 original, but with a couple of tweaks here and there.
You can choose between 31 levels of difficulty in this port and unlike the C64 version of Metagalactic Llamas it doesn’t become impossible a quarter of the way through.
Metagalactic Llamas is a decent but difficult game. It’s a Jeff Minter game still worth playing today, though.
