Ms. Pac-Man, Game Boy

The Game Boy conversion of the classic Ms. Pac-Man was developed by Namco Hometek, Inc. and published by Namco in 1993.

It is a very good port and is playable enough. Since the screen is so small, it scrolls around as you move, which isn’t ideal because you can’t see where the ghosts are if they’re not close by. So it is entirely possible that you’ll accidentally run into them if you’re not careful.

Compared to the Sega Game Gear version, Ms. Pac-Man on the Game Boy definitely comes out second best. Of course it lacks the colour, but the Game Boy version also has a side panel, which takes up even more of the screen, which is not the case in the Game Gear version.
