Treasure‘s 1998 Sega Saturn-based shooter is an absolute classic in terms of imagination and spectacle.
Robot creatures animate eerily, light is used dramatically, and gigantic explosions fill the screen regularly. But everything is so beautifully constructed that repetition doesn’t set in too easily.
Radiant Silvergun is an overhead shooter fan (and a rabid screen grabber’s) wet dream.

That is one heck of a blast!
Radiant Silbergun’s 3D scrolling backdrops are marvellous.
Just keep hammering them with firepower!
Destruction Rate 45%. Not too shabby.
Treasure use all kinds of cool screen effects to heighten the drama.

Kotetsu is now spraying me with bullets. It’s bullet hell!!!
