The 1984 Amstrad CPC conversion of the ZX Spectrum game, Technician Ted (aka The Chip Factory starring Technician Ted), is pretty much identical to the original, except that it has a rather garish colour palette.

It’s just as ridiculously difficult as the original too, which will put many off playing it.

Technician Ted is basically a Jet Set Willy clone, satirising British work culture and work places in the mid 1980s.

The aim is to complete tasks by touching two flashing boxes – one after the other – in some of the 50+ screens. A tall order, if ever there was one!
