The sequel to Raffaele Cecco‘s 1987 Spectrum hit Cybernoid is more of the same devilishly difficult flick-screen shooting fun.
Well, I say “fun“, but it’s really only fun if you know what you’re doing. Like Cybernoid before it, if you hesitate, or aren’t one hundred percent familiar with how the game works, and haven’t memorised what to do on each screen, then you’re probably going to struggle with it.
Graphically it’s a step up from its predecessor, but gameplay-wise it’s not much different. If you like challenging static-screen shoot ’em ups then Cybernoid II might appeal to you.
Cybernoid II was published by Hewson Consultants in 1988.
