This handheld conversion of Tehkan‘s Bomb Jack arcade game is a decent translation of the bomb-collecting classic. It was developed by New Frontier and published by Infogrames in 1992.
One thing I do love about this version of Bomb Jack is the tune on the title screen, which is one of my favourite chiptunes songs of all time. It comes across like a cross between The Goombay Dance Band and Abba, and it is a jolly tune well worth listening to.
Game Boy Bomb Jack is pretty much identical to the arcade game (but in monochrome), though it does have the option to play it in slow or normal speeds, and at three different difficulty levels.
