Screenshots of every level of Hewson’s 1984 platform-gaming classic, Technician Ted. And what a tough game it is! It’s playable and very colourful, though.
The aim is to perform a series of tasks – in the correct order – by touching two flashing boxes (one after the other) in each room.
Pixel-perfect jumping is required. Completing Technician Ted is a task well beyond my capabilities, although I do remember buying the game back in 1984, and not getting very far in it. So that was money well spent!
An Amstrad version was also produced, as was an enhanced 128K version – called Technician Ted: The Megamix – that was released in 1986. A sequel, called Costa Capers, was released in 1985.
