The original 1987 C16 release of Zolyx, published by Firebird Software, is a bare bones 16K conversion of the Commodore 64 classic. It is still a great game though.
A later homebrew version (called Zolyx+++) used 64K of RAM to enhance the game with a loading screen (which incorrectly calls the game Zolix), some music, a high score table, and a few other gameplay extras (such as a trainer).
Whichever version you play: Zolyx is a brilliant ‘painting game’ – a bit like the classic Qix, but with a twist on the subject. It’s absorbing and addictive and still fun to play now.

I used to spend hours on this game on the original C16 my parents bought me for Christmas way back in 1982. It was hard, but it was still fun to play, if only you had a joystick to control your player with.
